Why families trust this guide

An independent, data-driven directory, not a pay-to-list ad board.

19 centres scored, not just listed

We've scored every major childcare centre in Redland Bay, averaging 4.74 stars, so you're comparing the whole local market, not a handful of paid placements.

Built from what parents actually say

Our scores are pulled from published reviews, where strong communication, attentive educators and a family-like environment come up as the most common praise, and issues like staff turnover or room supervision get flagged too.

Checked monthly, overseen by a named editor

Marcus Quinn, Head of Research, keeps the rankings honest, with data refreshed monthly and a "last verified" stamp on every listing so you know it's current.

How we score every centre

One published rubric scores each business 0–100 from recent public Google reviews: rating, review volume, recency, sentiment, and profile completeness. No pay-to-rank, no edited reviews.

✓ Sentiment synthesised from real reviews, not republished
✓ Google-verified businesses clearly marked
✓ Refreshed regularly so scores stay current

Recent families praise clean facilities, engaged educators, and varied activities; some note staff move quickly on concerns. Older complaints describe understaffing, poor communication, high turnover, and supervision gaps during busy periods. The centre has improved communication practices (prioritising face-to-face engagement over daily notes) but mixed experiences persist regarding space and staffing levels.
